Beautiful snake and good DOF. I would prefer a tighter crop, because I think the background landscape is distracting rather than enhancing. Also, the red in her robe seems a bit blown out -- one thing that makes this challenge so challenging.

Definitely shallow DOF, and definitely red, so completely meets the challenge. I would vote higher if the sharp focal point had some interest or beauty.

Beautiful still life. I love the light, composition, and DOF. The subject is definitely red, but I don't really consider that the primary color of the image. Good score, nonetheless.

I know it is just a difference in interpretation of the challenge, but to me the primary color of this image is beige. Still, it is a nice composition and I like your shallow DOF.

I like the soft focus of the background, but I'm frustrated by the soft focus on the white flower. Lovely idea though, and well executed.
