Roseate Reflection by spydrComment: What an amazing bird, and so well photographed. Shame about the fairly high level of noise - might be worth trying out Topaz deNoise. |

El Capitanby jcarComment: Absolutely completely and utterly stunningly gorgeous. This must be printed and framed. |

Little church on the lakeby NeatComment: A very pretty scene, well captured. I do, though, rather wish the the figure in red was captured to the side (and ideally, in this instance, on the third). The red is so bold that it continually draws my eye back in to the centre. |

Suzhouby TiberiusComment: When I first viewed this on my work monitor (lunch break, honest) I decided not to vote, but to look again on my calibrated home monitor. I still find myself conflicted. What I love - the sense of mystery, of another world, and the way it could come from any era; I especially love the mysterious, possibly nefarious figure on the bridge - fascinating. What I am not so keen on - the large area of black that carries no detail the I can discern. Nonetheless, a 7 from me. |

Autumn Reflectionsby mluComment: Looks like a lovely place to spend an afternoon. Here the bright sun has not done you any favours - in particular, the burnt highlights just above centre are quite distracting. |

Canalby MargaretNetComment: What lovely scene. I'm not sure about the toning - possibly like that in reality from a mixture of pollution and sodium lighting? I rather like the lack of detail, like a painting - pretty sure the is an intentional choice on the part of the author. |

rippling sailboat mastsby tvsometimeComment: Cool - the patterns created by the ripples certainly make for an interesting study. Personally, I prefer the scene with the very to section cropped away, from about 2/3rds up the shortest post. For me all the interest is in the rippled reflections, and the busy jumble of boats takes away the impact. |

More Boats by mpetersComment: Very pretty and tranquil. My only slight quibble is with the tallest mast - as my eyes followed it up, I hit the top of the frame with a bit of a bump. |
