Competing Curvesby EstimatedEyesComment: I love the composition, but I'm really not very keen on the treatment you have given it. The image looks curiously flat, and lacking in contrast. The toning and nod to infra-red don't work for me. I'd really like to see this one with a different edit. |

What’s inside?by NeatComment: I think for this challenge I would have preferred a tighter crop removing the left hand section up to the window edge. The pull of the central and centre left part of your composition is so strong that my eye is drawn away from the door and chair, which is a really interesting part of the frame! |

Spirit of Stonehengeby vawendyComment: A thoroughly pleasing and different representation of Stonehenge. A caveat though - not keen on your treatment of the sky: there are a couple of places where the brush strokes fall ‘wrong’, most notably immediately adjacent to the stones. |

San Giovanni church - Val di Funes - 1744by NeatComment: I have revisited this a few times. There is something of your stylistic representation that does appeal, but on balance I find the image just too flat, giving the church the appearance of being pasted on to the background. Nonetheless, a lovely scene and I suspect a cracking base photo. |
