Week 1 - Slash pineby TammsterComment: I love the branches, they look like great big tentacles reaching out to the sky. I don't like what Topaz did to the bark though. I love bark and would liked to have seen the great textures of this pine tree's natural bark. It did a nice job on the blue sky and green needles though. |

Loverlyby bspurgeonComment: This has amazing "feel", with the colors and "smoothness". I love the boldness of the composition. That is a great title and fitting. I like your brother's response... |

Week 2 - Around the House -- Winter Roseby dtallaksonComment: Wow, I can't even imagine spring like weather! I love the soft pastel colors of this rose, they are so beautiful. I like the way you have lightened the edges to draw your eyes in to the center. I kinda wished that the top petals were more open so the whole frame would be filled with these soft colors. |

Curtainsby fisheyeComment: I just love these ice shots contrasting with beautiful flowing water. You have composed it perfectly. I agree that the slight blues add a dimension that you just wouldn't get with b/w. I've really enjoyed viewing this. |

02-52.jpgby salmiakkiComment: Great shot and I agree about the good balance. I love the diminishing sizes of the trees and all points leading to the people on the "beach". The large tree at bottom left (large in tonal value) then anchors the eyes and keeps you in the composition. |

Against The Grainby Covert_OddityComment: Funny shot for sure! I noticed the sign on my own, but didn't notice the trees and wall pattern until you mentioned it. I really like the patterns that were created with the tire movement. |

Week 1 - City Streetsby PennyStreetComment: Awesome capture. I love all the different things going on with the people...the one guy oblivious of anything with his headphones on, the girl in the foreground so concentrated on something and of course the happy girls. (And what is up with the guy and the long beard..he looks out of place :) |

PaW 1 HYDRANGEAby nivlekComment: I really like this. The soft pastels contrast great with the green leaves. I love the fact that it is completely in focus, but not over sharpened to the "hurt my eyes" level. Beautiful!
