Heirloomby biggood53Comment: Not quite sharp enough for my tastes - and the orange-tinted background looks dirty. Need more whiteness. |

Gemsby photogenixComment: Needs better focus/sharpness and is a bit too flat. |

Bob's Fine Jewelryby strangeghostComment: Not sharp enough - can't see enough of the jewel. I love the mistral font. :) I wish I could see more of the actual jewelry. |

Lost in Wonderlandby connieComment: I can't vote on members anymore, but that's unfortunate for you cuz this is a 10. My favorite pic I've seen in a long long time and definitely going in my favorites right now. |

Fright Nightby KonadorComment: Greetings from the Critique Club.
I am immediately reminded of "On the Verge" when I see this. I think the biggest difference is focus - there you were focused on your eye and face. Here you are focused on the dark eye and the one that's lit up and catches our attention is out of focus.
I think the smile distracts from the fear factor as well, because it's not a "scary smile" but a "jolly" one. :)
Not much else to talk about here - the negative space is well used and the composition is interesting to look at. Good luck and happy shooting.
M
