An alternate take on the red rose shotby GilesComment: Nice idea, I think the shot may have worked better if you angled the camera so that her body was fading out of focus. With the current pose, the overwhelming majority of the image is sharp, removing emphasis from the shallow DoF. Kudos for being bold, well done. |

Take aimby cprintzellComment: I like it... the pronounced bokeh in the background emphasises the shallow DoF, as does the weave pattern. Nice lighting. Well done. |

hide & seekby RohanCComment: Nice capture, I'd have liked to see a stronger fall-off in focus... the back of the bird is still reasonably sharp. |

Eating Lightby markwileyComment: Interesting composition... I found the haloing around the foreground light a bit off-putting but that's minor. Skin tones are also a bit soft, not sure if that's your lens or the processing... overall, well done. |

City of Parsons FDby hahn23Comment: The DoF really needs to be shallower... most of the image is in focus. I suspect you need a lens with a wider aperture (or a longer telephoto lens at full zoom). |

The Penitent's Choiceby jagarComment: I suspect you'll get punished for minimal red, but I really like it... simple but effective. 8 from me. |
