Rollin in the Money!!by YomiComment: Jeez, there's a Simpson's branded Monopoly? Nice shot - except that Bart's a little too far out of frame, whereas the house is on the strong line, but not the point of focus. Pulls the eye two ways. |

Wilting Awayby jenaromComment: Too much contrast for me - really want to see this where the highlights aren't so bright and the shadows so deep. Good shot though - but it says over-processed to me, rather than being a quite beautiful simple study of decaying beauty. |

Eye'll be Watching Eweby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: Captured the texture well - looks kind of synthetic, and the colour is strong. Doesn't do anything much for me beyond being a good shot technically. |

Golden Dollarby ChrisW123Comment: Some over-exposure -- you've lost detail in the top left edge of the coin, and I don't see that it helps to communicate anything useful: in fact it stops the coin looking gold I think: makes it seem a cheaper metal. Still an intersting shot though. |

Another Time by GringoComment: Wow - extraordinary catch. Love the detail and complexity of this, and I don't usually like complex images much - but the texture is wonderful; every single item here is interesting. |

Winds of Timeby bobgaitherComment: Would love to know exactly what is done to get this intense colour, and the detail at all levels of light. It looks painted, almost. Something feels wrong with it, and I can't put my finger on it. It's a great shot though - reminiscent, compositionally, of Parr's famous shot of Glastonbury Torr. |

Greenwich Time Ballby Geo_GriffinComment: Hehe, I nearly took this shot myself - though in the end I had a fortunate day in Greenwich. I wonder how many of the other voters understand what the thing's for, despite the title? |

Time to Kill?by fotoflyComment: Excellent, disturbing photo. Love the juxtaposition here. Technically, could have been better - is the near foreground really necessary? And it doesn't feel straight (horizontal). You could have sold this to the press. Or maybe you did, who knows? |

Elgin 1912by goodtempoComment: I appreciate the desire for accuracy with this shot - but I can't help thinking as I look at it that it would be even more dramatic taken at an angle - perhaps to help show the depth of the movement. As a catalogue shot it would be excellent, although the flaring-out of some refelctions and the un-evenness of the light would be a minus. Nice shot though |
