Frigid Reflectionby indigo997Comment: Good sky - good boat too, though for me you would have had more impact with a focus on the ice, rather than the reflections to meet the challenge more exactly. Interesting shot though. |

Stainless Steelby Silver FoxComment: Reminiscent of something for me - don't know what. There's a certain quality from the early years of photography here too - an interest in form, texture, things that no-one would paint. Liek this very much. |

Tea with Orangeby gerardComment: like the confidence that allows you to leave the white space - definitely benefits the shot. And technically, keeping the camera so (nearly) invisible is an achievement. Something doesn't quite appeal about it though - at the moment not sure what - it may be the lack of depth to the shadows (deliberate I'm sure, but this is my personal prefernce, of course) |

Driving on the Motorwayby KonadorComment: love the way the road winds through the frame - and one of few b&w images that seems to benefit from being so. |

Boatby LanceComment: For me, such a simple (good simple) shot requires that you capture the symmetry of the boat - else there's a funny impression of distortion. The whites have flared out too - which helps the 'cleanliness' of the image, but detracts from the interest. If you'd nailed the symmetry, then the coiled rope would become a much stronger element of the shot too - paralleling and off-setting the cirular thing in the cabin roof. Very close to being a great shot. |

Dancing Bootsby mcraelComment: Like the close crop of the top of the boots - emphasises the 'from above' element nicely, and a great old trick it is too. I'm not a fan of such 'studio' photography though, but it's well done. |

Silent Striderby stephanComment: I'd be intrigues to know how you've got this quality into this shot - it almost looks painted! great work - for me, perhaps a little more contrast overall would have aded mystery even more. Is it a very dark shot that's been lightened hugely? |

Seaside Sixby ShiiizzzamComment: Very fine shot: would have been a really interesting leading lines contender. What on earth aperture is this taken at :-) Great DOF, great tone, great subject. Great light. Winner so far |
