Sunset Photographerby crikComment: Very nice! I am not a sucker for silhouettes and sunsets so much, but this has a nostalgic sense to it. It reminds me of the feeling I get when I am sitting on the couch going through photos after a shoot with some tea and music. |

Consolationby awpollardComment: She is a really neat subject, but the processing bothers me. It gives the photo a quality of forced etherealness when her in her raw, natural state would probably be much more moving and beautiful. |

Here's Looking at You DPCby kleskiComment: Nice dof, not the most incredible animal shot in the world, but your focus is good. The colors are a little funky but it goes with the strangeness of the animal (frog?) |

Red Barnby BackpackRComment: This is interesting. The colors here bother me a bit, it is unsettling. The mood that the colors create is unique but the composition isn't very strong, the focal point isn't very interesting and there is a lot of deep black space. Still, I like the strange colors |

Red Rock by WishingdoveComment: This has that same film photography-like quality to it that your first entry has. I like it. It is a new look on the landscape. |

Angel of Lightby WishingdoveComment: This has an interesting vintage softness to it, resembling film work actually. This is lovely and I think it is a great start for a unique personal style. |

Stetson Man by LVicariComment: I like the bw shot of him that you did in a similar pose better. The lighting on his face looks a bit forced in post processing in this one. Very nice clarity and dof though. |

Mayby landon1013Comment: I agree that the colors are off in this, the entire photo has a yellowy feel to it that makes her look a little sickly. The bright spots in the background distract from her face and the portrait itself isn't particularly unique, which probably impacted your score a lot. Her eyes don't pop as much as they could, so that leave the viewers eye focusing more on her earring, which is a bit blurry and not the greatest of subjects. I hope this helps you understand the scoring better. This is a nice portrait for her though and I bet she likes it a lot. Message edited by author 2009-03-02 01:44:09. |

Snow Angelby kvickreyComment: Nice setting, i love the depth of field. The theme of girl in black angel wings has been done a lot, but I can't just write this off because of that. The detailing of the snow in the foreground and background combined with an interesting, tighter composition works very well. |
