Hmm - nice shot but it seems like it would lend itself to more of a panorama crop - appreciate the foreground interest but it might have been better to shoot from lower with the same crop at the bottom which would decrease the water area, and then crop the sky to match.

This is a brilliant example of how this challenge has turned from a photography challenge to an art / craft challenge. Not sure if i like it, but i love the effort and skill into putting this together as a piece of art - the photograph just displays the art and isnt the art in itself. Ability in the medium of "post its" would give you ~9, but the actual photo does nothing for me. However, consistency in my voting for this challenge says i dont give you a low score... something for a discussion after voting has finished maybe...

the bell (i'm assuming it is one) is a bit dark and not very well distinguished from the background. Lighting on the arm is good but it gets a bit messy top right :( Maybe a snoot pointed at the bell would have brought it out better while still keeping the lighting on the arm.

I use ear-plugs so I don't hear it when the chicken screams.

Oh dear - title will probably get some comments (and low votes) from animal lovers (i have a rather similar story to tell about a chicken processing factory which involved everything working except the bit that killed them :-\). But anyway - nice job on the photo itself, more "work" than most i've seen.
