Old Tiles New Tilesby FrostyPawsComment: A little soft and the composition is a bit static. I like the reflection on the wall though and the tonal range is really good. |

random dogby rozComment: The dog is incredibly sharp and the B&W conversion is very well done, with good tones but I am unsure what to think of the effect you gave to the sky. It looks as though it doesn't belong into the same picture. Is this a composite image? Also, I'd suggest cropping a little of the empty space on the right of the dog. |

Cosmosby FrostyPawsComment: A little dark for me. I would have preferred a brighter flower to off set nicely against the background. Excellent sharpness and the bokeh in the back is very pleasing. |

Day 5by breadfan35Comment: I like the blurred background and the textures in the peeling paint. B&W does wonders for subjects like this. The vignetting is also a nice touch as it helps focus the eye where you wanted it and make the best of the shallow DOF. Simple and effective. |

Day 05 - Broken glassby hajekaComment: The textures of the broken glass edges are beautiful and work well with the black background. I especially like the right part of the glass and wonder how this would look in a close-up shot. |

Day 04 The Bridgeby lilkarebearComment: The B&W tones are wonderful and the image is pin sharp (which is amazing considering you were in a driving car). I agree with hajeka that the composition could be better but the rest of the image is strong enough that I don't really care. |

Treescapeby BenComment: Very similar to the image I submitted in Fill the Frame (which did really bad). I still like it though. To me, it shows you are able to see beyond what regular people will see (a tree). The focus is really sharp and the DOF gives a nice transition from front to back. Ideally, I would have placed the "sharp focus" area in the lower third of the frame instead of right in the middle. |

Tweetieby sfaliceComment: Tweetie's a real sweetie then! The B&W conversion suits him really well. The eyes are in sharp focus but the DOF is a bit narrow for my comfort. I would have liked the "eyebrows" (?) to be in sharp focus too. But that a minor thing, the picture is really good. |

Day4.jpgby FotoMunkiComment: This is lovely, with nice contrast and pleasing DOF throughout the image. The eye wanders back and forth. The light is just great and complements the "fluffiness" of the grasses. |
