Winter Wonderland by rinacComment: Thank God we don't have to vote utilizing thumbnails. This woulda gotten the DNMC for sure! Even expanded, I had to really look at it (ok...I am old and my eyesight isn't the best) and so glad I did.
Rina, the photography on this is top rate. The setup for the shot had to have been fun. But mostly, the imagination to come up with this idea is simply wonderful! Congrats on the red! Great photograph!! |

Look into my soul by JudiComment: Congrats Judi!!! Maybe you should change your moniker to "Judi Blue"! :)
And thank Kita for us too! She is a wonderful model for all that you do... and WE are the ones who reap the rewards! Such wonderful shots!!!
But be careful, Judi! Some nasty UNknowing person could label you with child brutality. First you bend her up and around like a rubber Gumby:
and now you festoon her with pretty stuff postponing her bedtime. Just kidding!!
Way to go, Kiddo!! Message edited by author 2008-02-14 02:32:29. |

Castles in the Airby surfdabblerComment: This shot exemplifies why I spend most of my computer time wandering aimlessly through portfolios and galleries. Some of the photos on this site are breathtaking ... and this is no different.
After 3 years in the Army jumping out of airplanes, amongst other things, this is the best description of the feeling I had in the time between the insanity of jumping from the plane and the sanity of pulling the lanyard.
All of my life, I have wanted to travel to your wonderful country, the birthplace of my grandfather. If I should ever be able to do so, in the years I have left, I may appear on your doorstep, begging for a chance to go with you while you take some of your wonderful aerial/surf shots.
Thank you for this! It is utterly beautiful! |

First Footprintsby raishComment: I think I would have liked to have the cat and the wood ( ? ) more centered. Too much snow. If there are supposed to be the 'footprints' in the snow, can't see them. If you had used a sidelight to give them somewhat of a shadow, they would have shown up, more'n likely. But if they aren't there anyways...again...different crop.
I do love the white cat on the snow. Clear and precise focusing. (7) |
