Harbor Masterby robaComment: This is sort of a typical shot, but the smoothness of the water and the shape of the water swirl along with the color tone I think makes it elegant. |

squirrelby JulieGComment: Can I please have that peanut now?
This is a great shot, nice expression. Goes to show and ordinary subject can still make a very good shot. |

Restingby KatheComment: I wish you had taken about 3 steps to the left so the tree was not right behind him.
I also wish its eye was open. I do like the texture on his coat tho and the leaves. |

Thanks for showing me an animal I am not really familiar with.

The Gathering by karenkComment: This to me, is a great example of a sort of 'ordinary' choice of wildlife subject, but your composition is so delightful in combination with your DOF choice, it is really enjoyable shot. It is great how you got them to line up like that : )
I would highly recommend with wildlife subjects if you do not have catch lights in its eyes that you make the shot 100 or 200% and then take a small dodge brush maybe 4-5 and then dodge in a catch light usually there is a small light there and you can just increase it to be a bit stronger. Works with people too.
Try it and see what you think : )
