Yes the Polar bear was in the wild, laying down on the snowy and bitterly cold (-30 deg Celsius) tundra near Churchill, Manitoba. A few outtakes:

really really nice shot ! but still I somehow feel something is missing reducing the impact. I think it may be it is due to the crop that you selected. Still excellent job in preserving the details. 8 |

I love this except for one factor - there is no contact with the eyes. I wish there was some catchlight there. Still a great shot. |
