The Neverending Roadby jjenksComment: I really like the vanishing point in your shot here. But it looks very snapshot-like. Try to take it from a more creative angle so it's more unusual and grabs the viewer's attention. If this were in a gallery, most people give a photo only a passing glance so you want to make the most of the little time people give to your work. As for a different point of view: maybe off center, lower to the ground, or both? Also, contrast is a bit flat and could use a polarizer to bump that up a bit and add some punch to the sky. This is an excellent start, however! |

Infinityby tyt2000Comment: Technically simple yet very effective message. The repeating pattern is nicely composed. And a good choice with b/w to maintain a simple feel about it. |

Don't Look Backby L1Comment: Hey, that's great! Kick the man out of the car amd make him walk. Love the duotone. Details are not quite sharp. Sky and his shoulder are overexposed. |

Deep thoughtsby TrollManComment: Great idea and very interesting. Composition is very good. Upper part of mirror reflection and actual wall above mirror is overexposed. Flash shadow is harsh. |

Mosaic Mirrorby HeavyComment: The mirror itself is interesting, however, the reflections inside the small mirrors are not. I think it would look better if the subject was in focus and of some interest. |

Subtle Reflectionsby ws6_taComment: A bit too centered and looks slightly overprocessed. I would leave some negative space on the right side of the frame and maybe a bit more at the top. |

mirror imageby claudia26Comment: Not the most imaginative or creative photo in the challenge. However, you captured very nice tonal balance of the skin with only one bright spot on the shoulder. Details of the hair are sharp and clear. |

Last Dance, First Kissby dan_pendletonComment: This would a great DOF shot (sans people) but it's extremely difficult to make out what they are doing since they are so blurry. |

What a stud!by parrotheadComment: Very cute photo of a horse admiring himself in the mirror. Nice details and composition. Great job of getting the horse to look right into the camera via the mirror, too. |

Autumnby JesuispeureComment: Looks like the type of scene you see in commercials of people looking for something in the attic and there always seems to be a mirror up there. Model looks very relaxed and is pondering something. Love the duotone and the textures of the floor and hair seem to complement each other very well. Well composed but the upper left corner of the frame seems a bit overexposed. I looked at this a second time and thought about the upper left corner a lot. It gives a nice balance to the opposite corner of the frame and it seems to work well especially since there's more lighter parts of the frame than darker parts. In my opinion, darker portions would ask for more attention away from the main subject. 9 |
