Mirror Of Natureby DufusComment: This my favorite of the challenge. The simplicity of the idea is amazing and works very well. Contrast is a bit blown out in the real sky (not reflected sky) but that makes me want to focus more on the mirror and trace the lines. Not that I like overexposed skies but it's not as distracting here. Plus the frame forces the eye to look there and the color forces the eye even more. A solid 9 but since I love this shot so much, I'll give it a 10. |

Refreshing Reflectionsby mocabelaComment: Great shot! Love the strong contrast of this shot. Those are my favorite type of b/w or duotone shots. Things I feel are missing are perhaps some ice cubes in the drink and a less distracting reflection on the right. The reflections of the glass are very interesting but if you want to maximize focus time on the glass, make the most of it. Give the eyes something to look at. I think you had an overhead light source so even a plain reflection would have worked as well or maybe a dark gray to show the drops on the glass surface. And to be really nitpicky, wax the glass surface so the water beads vs spreading. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this photo. Good job! 7 |

Windows to the Soul by ColeyComment: Oh man, this one made me laugh out loud! Big bug eyes! Great creativity and use of selective desat. My sole complaint is the model's forehead as it's slightly overexposed. 7 |

looking at myselfby mizz_kt_bugComment: Interesting composition is flawed by harsh and direct flash lighting. If this is an external flash, try using bounce/fill flash if possible. Or try a softbox. Short of that, try some kleenex in front of the flash to help diffuse and soften the light. |

Mobile Homeby ellamayComment: I don't think the shallow DOF works to your advantage here. If the snail was facing the camera and shallow DOF was applied to blur part of the shell would look much nicer. Exposure is a bit dark. Good use of negative space in front of the snail. |

Trapped in a Kaleidoscopeby nicoledbComment: Another very creative photo in this challenge. The most difficult part is taking the photo without a trace of the camera or photographer. Sorry, but I can see both in your entry. |

Rainbow's crashby menardmamComment: Love the creativity shown here. Colors are very vivid and well saturated. But for some reason, I get dizzy trying to focus on this image. There doesn't appear to be a main focal point and in some areas I actually see double. |

illusion by ursulaComment: Very nice composition and excellent focus all across the feather (especially in the downy part). The part of the photo that gets serious negative points; color balance. It's WAY too red. You can see the tint everywhere. |

Come visit the Mighty Niagara!by lwkimagesComment: Now that I see you took the photo with a 10D, you should consider investing in a polarizer. It would have helped considerably with the haze in the sky. |
