Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouseby GallatinComment: Very striking building especially in that shade of red. Awesome details of the clouds as I can see every wisp. The lighthouse and the trees in the foreground are a different story as the lighthouse shows some compression artifacts (near the second window) and the middle tree's leaves are a blur. |

Bee-tween the Eyesby vtruanComment: Creative title and I like it. Nice composition. The colors and saturation are a bit light and entire photo seems overly grainy. Focus could be improved slightly to bring out finer details of the bee. |

Bee Tineby justineComment: Very strong visual impact with DOF although I think it would have looked better if the bee was on one of the nearer tines to be in full focus. The wings and legs beg to show off details and especially the body with all the fur. 7 |

Untitledby oksamitComment: VERY sharp details of the pinecones. The stand/vase looks a bit out of place as its colors are pastel vs the earthy tones of the 'cones. Same with the orange section in the background. |

Technicolorby JesuispeureComment: Although creative, the "technicolor effect" applied to the rose just doesn't do it for me. I do, however, appreciate the effort you must have gone through to get the desired effect if in fact you had to do all this yourself. I will give you extra brownie points based on that assumption. |

Lilyby melismaticaComment: This needs help with focusing. The upper left, lower right and upper right corners could have been cropped out as the background that pokes through is distracting. |

Wild Irisby MWittComment: Nice job focusing on just the center flower. Colors and saturation are excellent. I would have cleaned up the flowers physically by removing the dead petals etc. Those are distracting in my opinion. Background is nicely blurred and muted. 7 |

Ladybug Includedby lear202btComment: Amazing details of the flower petals and inner parts. Not much iin the way of the ladybug despite the title. Now if the ladybug was on one of the petals, I could understand the title. But in its current form, the ladybug just sorta blends in with the flower, unfortunately. The background is also too much in focus. I would rate this higher if it were blurred. Contrast can also use some minor adjustments. Good overall effort. |

Just Dandyby ellamayComment: Very nice photo! Crisp details of the dandelion seeds and their fluffy thing-y (whatever that white part is called). Maybe even oversharpened a tad but not enough where I'd deduct points. 9 |
