Reading By Candlelightby karmatComment: This is a clever idea.... and the "X" shadow on the page caused by the candle is on "I beseech thee... teach me thy judgements". Don't know if this was in any way planned, but seems appropriate in a wierd sort of way to the voting at hand! Or maybe I'm just in a weird mood. Anyway. I like it. |

Urban Oasisby stephanComment: Nice idea. Shows another aspect of life in the city. The picture itself isn't that appealing though. Sorry. |

Night on the Townby indigo997Comment: Well, late afternoon on the town... but anyway, depicts city life. was there room to crop this so that more of the people showed up in the photo (from a "composition" stand point, not "meeting the challenge" stand point). I like it. |

Inside Rural City Limitsby karmatComment: Hard to catch wildlife, so I assume you had to crop in too tight afterwards which caused the digitization effect. Do you have digital zoom on your camera? Mine automatically cuts the file size down when I use it, but is actually the right size for the site requirements, and captures an image that's further away than what I can approach. As far as the subject matter for the challenge at hand, without the title, would not depict city life. Now, a trash can or a building, or a mailbox, or a ... something in it to show me it's in a city would help. :-) |

Let's go to the moviesby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: This is a nice picture of architechture. To be City Life, I would have waited for a movie to get out so people would be milling, and going in and out of the doors. Maybe the long exposure would have erased them... |
