"Look@the stars, Look@ the sea, Look@ the flowers then compare them to me, I'm Pretty!"by RoosterComment: a cute child... but please allow me to critique this as if it were my own photograph. I work in a portrait studio and take mostly photos of small children, and I am very hard on myself:
The first thing I notice is the bottom of her shoes. It is always best to avoid this. Turning the child to one side, and hiding the bottom of one foot (the leg furthest from the camera) by tucking it against the inner side of the leg closest to the camera usually does this. I really like how she is holding her feet, so that is a plus.
The second biggest thing I notice is the moisture on her chin. A shiny area due to drool is the biggest problem to avoid at this age, yet is one of the most important things to avoid. The lighting is done beautifully. And you caught the reflection in her eyes wonderfully. Also, her head is turned at a nice angle..to be almost a profile, yet her head is thrown too far back. I also don't like the tongue out with this expression on her face.
The seamless background was done very well, but the top right corner could have been edited further to make that smooth as well.
Overall, I would probably rate this between a 6 - 8.
I think you have a good thing going here. With these suggestions in mind, you have the makings of perfection in future.

Perfect Handoffby dirtkahunaComment: nice moment. colors okay.. noise from pushing saturation? or exposure too dark?
(asks self). either way, quality is lessened a bit from it, but I like it overall. |

After the stormby xsnrgComment: the horizon line is not straight, and is not far enough off center to make a difference. The composition on the bottom 2/3 of the photo is very nice, and I really like the cold feeling and detail. good that you didn't slice the bird's head with the ocean/horizon line. |

Rby MikeOComment: Fantastic shot - but I don't like the border at all, and I think it takes away from the composition. Borders don't usually detract, in my mind.. |

50mph at 1/45 sec.by JasonComment: nice pan. I'd like to see a bit more headspace to the right so that my eye wants to keep being propelled with the motion. |

Weee...the joys of Spring!by SonifoComment: great expression. I think the high key works well here.. just enough texture at the bottom for pizzazz and placement. |
