Sev's Christmas Ornamentby JKazanComment: This is probably a long exposure, but it cannot be easily seen from the composition of this image (other than all of the lights being illuminated). A focal point is present: good. |

Blades of Lightby bauerfan71Comment: Pretty nice effect, but it's very static and uniform in detail. "One dimensional," so it's hard for this to compete with most of the other shots. |

Fast Foodby CalamitysMaster00Comment: If you're trying to emphasize "fast" here, then you've got a starting point. My eye isn't drawn to the blurring of the cars (alluding to "fast"), so the image loses a lot of potential. A focal point in long exposures seems to be hard, and I can't really find one here. |

Oh Christmas Treeby jelloeaterComment: Room is lit by the tree. A good idea. Lighting doesn't seem sufficient, though, and the color cast is a little murky (maybe white balance issue). |

hell! It´s too high...by quindeComment: Doesn't really convey hell to me ... it does give me a feeling of frustration, though. Composition is OK, I think it's competing against more artistic (possibly abstract?) representations so it doesn't hold ground well. |

Hell Awaitsby mfzComment: Color cast is a little distracting and I can't find any real focal point. A bit grainy (maybe for effect), and I just can't see "hell" in this. |

Eternally Watching Wall Streetby charmayneComment: Feels like hell in the foreground, and the stock exchange building adds another dimension to "hell." Great rawness and the bare trees add greatly to the effect. This is a mix of two human elements (and many subelements thereof) that clash, in a good way. It's almost like life doesn't give respect to death. |

Living Hell by SimmsComment: I like how some interpretations of hell are more concrete and "ordinary," if you can call it that. The dog pulls this image away from any possible cliche, as it really makes you realize there is a living element to a lot of hell. Depth and texture in the image don't distract from the subject here, but add effect and emphasis. Very good! |
