Great colours, good location, shame we don't get the full arc of the blue. Would score higher with complete perspective on the 6 neon arches.

I was *very* disappointed this shot placed so low. I think it's head and shoulders above many of the others! I mean, really... how many speeding planes, trains and automobiles can we stomach? Grey plane on grey background anyone?

Oh well! Still love to see it framed on the wall. If only I had the cash. In the meantime, keep at it!

Nice exposure burn to play down the details, but capture the general feel of things. Nice tones. Good composition of foreground and out of focus background elements.
Bet it makes needle-phobic people cringe!

There's a number of fairground ride shots entered in the challenge, but this one is IMO the best. It's predominantly in the tonal depth (the blackness of the blacks), but combined with perfect amount of motion blur, the legible text in foreground, (near) illigible background text, and the subject's gaze cast off to one side, all adds up to a shot that I can easily imagine in large format framed on a wall.

Excellent colours, framing, angle, balance of blades in motion and sharpness of badge. Also like the capture of shine on the metal.

Nice shine on the needle itself.
Find the LCD readout distracting though.

Find the car's side-mirror too distracting. The rest of the shot, particularly the streetlight starburts, is good.
