Street lights - still lifeby bormicComment: Love the concept and the crop! The glare on the background (table top?) is a little distractiong though. The lighting is not terribly inspiring, making the image very 'flat'.

B&W Beautyby kateasanovComment: Like the angle on the glass but would prefer a single colored background! Also I would rather see this in color so you can get the detail of the glasses reflections in the light. This would give more texture to the glass. The crop is a little tight on the top and bottom too.

Coffee Timeby NazgulComment: Overall I like this shot. It shows a nice conceptual understanding of the challenge! Focus is a touch soft for my taste. Did you do that on purpose? From a compositional point of view, the radio is a nice touch but makes the shot a little busy with all the writing. My eye is drawn to it and cannot read it because of the soft focus and size limitations of the site. For here I would have composed it differently to have less radio and more foreground! At 8 by 10 this would be a very nice image though!

With A Viewby crabappl3Comment: I think that this is an awesome image. You make great use of two differing negative spaces here, the sky above and the grass below! The colors are very nice! Lovely greens contrasting with the blue whites of the sky above. Focus is perfect and DOF is very nice for this type of image! The only complaint that I have is there seems to be a tilt and it's rather difficult to see where. What I would do is rotate slightly to make the house lines perfectly up and down! But then again, an old house may be leaning slightly... No, looking more closely, it needs a sublte rotation clockwise!

An Evil Eyeby jab119Comment: OK here goes. Love the contrasting colors of the mask! (Spider man I presume...) The focus is very good! Nice capture of the texture of the mask too.
They eye is creepy! It's like your minds eye tries to make the eye be in focus but you can't focus on it. Makes it almost dificult to look at but ya don't wanna look away and when ya do the lines in the mask draw you back in!
Very intrigueing shot. One of the best here!
My only complaint is you need more OR less of the bottom eyelid. As it is now its the only distraction IMHO.

. . .My Pumpkin . .by ladpupmoeComment: I really wanna know how ya did the pumpkin. That's pretty cool. It's Not carved is it??? The rest of the picture doesn't quite get there though. I think its a lighting thing.
The pumpkin is still cool though so ya get bonus points!

If this isnt SPOOKY...then I dont know what is...........by boyte1Comment: EEEEK Run for the hills! OK...On a photography note. This shot is a little busy with all the stuff in the back ground. I woulda tried to crop it down a little bit to get rid of some of it. Or even better try a different angle! As far as your model goes, purple makes her complexion a little dark!

HRH Queen Elizabeth II Prideby michael_pComment: Nice crop and composition! Was this taken with a zoom? With shots like this, it is not easy to take full advantage of the light. In this instance the back of the swan is a touch over exposed but the face and front are in shadow making the focal point of the shot hard to determine. A little patience and luck and you might have a perfect shot!
