Love the concept. Decent execution. GREAT focus! What would Cool change??? Crop out more to the right to get the whole thumb. And that one piece of green is very distractiong and changes the dark feeling for me at least! Other than the one leaf I'm glad you kept what little color their is though. My score is 7

This shot just doesn't have a lot going for it IMHO. The ball isn't realy in that sharp of a focus. The crowd is just sitting there. There is no action with players. Nothing to keep my attention. Now if the crowd was going wild.... Best I can do (and I DO like the concept but it's a tough one to pull off well) is a 5.

Very nice!!! Tough focus here. You must have a nice camera! It's a little blown out on the pointy part of needle though. Love the color and the way the thread kinda disappears into the background. I'm sayin' 8

I tried something like this at first and couldn't get what I was looking for with my camera. This is a tough shot. I like the composition (but would have centered the plate and more offset the candles). It's blown out too much in the white part of the candles though. (the flames of course should be a little blown out in this type of shot) Also focus is a touch off. (hard to do real good in this lighting!) Adjusting for down for technical and adding bonus points for the attempt I gotta say 5

Hey, I really like this one. The textures are awesome. Love the color. Nice focus on the zipper. The DOF is just a touch shallow though, the close part IHMO should be in focus also... Also it's a touch blown out on the part of the cloth closest to lens. I'm sayin' 7

The Trolls Ruined My Photo!

Having a 10 year old boy I almost did a shot like this for this theme and also for sports. I wasn't gonna use so many toys (or are these D&D figures) though. This is a quite busy and the DOF is kinda shallow so my eye doesn't have a resting point. I can't find a 'subject' so to speak. Also the large unfocused object in the foreground really is (IMHO) distracting....
