Greetings from the Critique Club.

What a lovely play of light. Bursting with colour, to me this image conveys a certain sense of delight, and elegance of natural forms. It's life, about life, full of life, and life in its springtime at that.

If you're wondering about the low score - DPC famously favours razor sharp, elaborately staged images, and what the score is trying to tell you is "where's your sexy model, where are your elaborate reflections, how dare you simply shoot nature in all its delight and simplicity". So if you want to, you could go down that route and learn how to score higher and higher. I urge you to carry on shooting what you love instead.

I gave this a 7 - surprised to find it scoring under 5 - in my view it is much, much better than many that finished substantially higher.

The harsh light reflections are a distraction for this. Maybe using different coloured Post it notes would have made this more interesting, as would a different angle on the lighting.
