Since no one asked, here's some background on this shot:
* I used my Canon M6 mkII with a Meike 7.5mm fisheye shooting from ground level with a 30" softbox on the left also at ground and pointed up towards subject's head.
* I printed the dollar signs onto blank bags. I used clip art of the dollar sign to make a linocut which I then used to print the symbol onto the cloth. In my haste, I forgot to reverse the image when making the lino block, which meant that the character is reversed when printed. So I had to mirror the original...whatever.
* That's my oldest kid/co-conspirator wearing one of my old suits. He and his brother are usually up for whatever creative shenanigans I come up with.
* This image was in the plan well before the challenge, when the challenge came out, I already knew what I was going to do.
* After 25 years of me working in it, this image pretty accurately sums up how I feel about how the corporate world operates.
* The full size image looks a LOT better than it does here. I just exported jpg straight from straight from Lightroom, setting the longest side to the max dimension allowed at 100% quality. Dunno if there's a better way to resize for submission or not, if someone knows, please fill me in.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
