COMPOSITION -CONTENT - I find this too centralised and I think taking it at an angle with the lens pointing upwards would have given a more dramatic effect The overall image could have been slightly brighter and crisper

YOUR OPINION ON THE PHOTO - although I am not an american I can relate to this scene and the sense of desolation the figure and flowers portray definitely a good shot at photo journalism

A very atmospheric shot, tells a story on it's own. Well done.

Title and shot do not really gel here. Better title could be found. The shot screams about remembrance... not rebuild.

Nicely done. A bit dark, but a well-thought-out image. It draws the viewer in and inspires a wide range of emotion. Well done. muckpond

Timely news article. Good composition, execution needs some things. Photo needs lightened up some - so we can see the things hanging on the fence and their colors. Also need to see the man better. This is where your emotion is for this picture. Lightening the shot would have enhanced the emotion. Or that's my opinion. But women like the emotion of things. Otherwise good job. PTL8

Nice shot, given recent events I could certainly see this on the front page. The person in the photo is a nice touch, it wouldn't have been the same without them there.

good to see that the flowers haven't stopped arriving.

I think I would have dropped the camera a little lower and angled it upward to show the empty sky. 7 nards656
