Grazingby chazoeComment by posthumous: oh dark cows feeding upon darkness, what is the milk of your efforts? and who dares to drink of it?
one night I saw cows grazing upon stars
and I thought what strange motion
will make those stars visible again?
because we tend to think like Aristotle
that heavenly bodies are fixed, permanent in motion or permanently still,
immune to the forces that pull an apple from a tree
and wither it away, but now we know,
now we know,
the stars are tears of God,
glimmering then gone. |

Grazingby chazoeComment by insteps: Some uniqueness (tried to type ubiqueness but spell checker chose another word) going on here. Dark, mysterious and a wonderful entry. |

Grazingby chazoeComment by LevT: love the tones. I can see here across between two great Ubique's photos, zebras and a horseback |

Grazingby chazoeComment by Paul: Night of the bovine! I like how we are communing with them. Excellent tones too.
I like how you aren't afraid of the shadows. |

Grazingby chazoeComment by ubique: This reminds me of something striped. Big kick out of the unconventional crop, and the brutal vignette is ... brutal (always happy to see gratuitous brutality, photographically speaking). Thank you. |

Me at Workby chazoeComment by Mike: nice composition. i'd prefer the face to be better exposed and the background to be a bit darker as it draws too much attention but such things couldn't be adjusted. not gonna dock you points for the inability to edit.

9:17:32by chazoeComment by mariuca: Our eyes perceive this image in a pinwheel movement trying to find a resting place to give us an answer but there is not such thing and we are forever searching. There are all kinds of elements here. There is graciousness, power, tiredness, acceptance, fear, violence and in the end some hope. It̢۪s an imperfect photograph of an imperfect world. It belongs to a series of snapshots on a theme that only this photographer knows about. The awakening of ideas. |
