Merry Christmas 2012 by kgearyComment by ciaeagle: Cute! the bokeh helps draw your attention right to the little one's bright eyes. I like the neutral border color choice. |

Merry Christmas 2012 by kgearyComment by Mike: i used a similar background for my "real" Christmas cards. I'd be curious as to how far away the lights were, i could get mine to blur out like that.
nice job |

Merry Christmas 2012 by kgearyComment by RyanW: Cute model - i recognize her from the autumn photoshoot you had linked in the forums before - i'm sure your daughter will love having these pictures in the future!
The backdrop is great, i'm curious if it's a drop or just hanging lights - i'm looking to get a similarly colored dropcloth with a light pattern like this (but fully wide spread for the lights). If this is a backdrop, i'd love to hear where you got it from. |

A Portrait of Strength and Beautyby kgearyComment by AllenP: Kevin, this is a great work! Great lighting and great model. I would not dare to go shallow depth of field in my studio like this, my lights are just too strong for it. I think the lowest I have tried in my studio is f/4. I guess I could always cover my lights with an extra layer of diffusion and go even more shallow while setting my ISO to 50. This should have finished higher. |

The Force Is With Himby kgearyComment by LoVi: Originally posted by JamesDowning: This one is still by far my favorite.
I did vote 10, but apparently didn't vote on enough entries for my 10 to count. Sorry bud! |
I don't get it either. I voted the whole challenge....left comments on every one....am hardly seeing any of my scores in red. I gave this one a ten and I can't see it. I think someone should challenge the challenge results in this challenge!!! Harrumph! |
