Comment by Neuferland:
A nice shot but seems a bit tilted to the right, not sure why. Maybe if you had come at her more head on instead of from the angle you did? I like the backdrop, nice contrast to her white shirt and jeans but the lighting seems a bit dull overall. Too muted, leaving the shot looking dull overall. A 5

Comment by David.C:
Lighting: Low light, low contrast. More light is needed, as well as a reflector or something to get rid of the shadows making bags under her eyes.
Pose: Very nice pose.
Background: Works well.

Lighting on the subject's face needed, but just enough to keep the blouse from being the major impact in this image.

Comment by GeneralE:
I like this as a candid shot. For "portrait" (especially if "studio") I think it would be stronger if cropped to just a head nad shoulders shot, with her lips at about the lower-right 1/3-line intersection.

Comment by TooCool:
Nicely posed/composed. Lighting is a tad bit flat (or maybe your levels). Could definatly benefit from catchlight in her eyes. Nice casual feel here. Are you getting negative feed back about the studio part of the challenge discription?

Nicely composed; would like a crop from the top to bring her into the frame more. Perhaps a levels adjustment or some slight dodging to highlight her a bit more? She seems a tad dark on my monitor. :o)

It is very hard to get a lily pond shot that isn't cluttered. You have achieved this with this lovely image.

Comment by KaDi:
A nice expressive portrait. She looks a bit too sad, perhaps, while it seems you were going for wistful. I'm one of those who thinks of "studio" as an inside place--so it's not quite perfect for the challenge, in my opinion.
