Nice mix and composition of colors. Odd that the trees in the valley seem less in focus than the rest.

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

Great details in the tree trunk and the leaves. Composition is good but has potential to be stellar. I think better lighting would have been better for it could have introduced a dramatic element to the composition. I.e. different times of the day illuminate the leaves to give it a natural glow or the sun lights up the side of the trunk to give some drama in highlights and shadow. Just a suggestion but another idea that could have been added to get a little more visual appeal is to have one leaf 'falling' in the frame. Admittingly, the attempt would be far more difficult to capture both tree and leaf in sharp detail but it may be possible if a leaf is held just at the top of the frame, focused on and let go with shutter fired.

I like the trunk disappearing into the canopy of leaves, but I think the image would hold my interest longer if there was more contrast within the leaves. For my taste, the leaves are too close to being a uniform blur of red.

ETA: Since this is a minimal editing challenge, I guess that would mean taking the picture in different light.

The title kills this image. Where's the owner of this guitar? Why isn't he/she sitting on the track strumming their broken heart away? This is just a snapshot. No editing at all. Looks like your camera was set on automatic or you used your phone? Here's an idea: Get an old man with aged hands holding the guitar as if he's playing, and set him on the tracks. Use a wide angle lens and crop in close on the picking hand and allow image to flow out following the tracks. Aim the neck of the guitar away from the camera like the tracks moving away from the viewer. How about a homeless looking person carrying the guitar over his shoulder walking away from the camera? Try some imagination.
