I like this shot very much, this reminds me of my childhood when I used to sit at the window and watch the icicles drip of the edge of the roof, the clarity is wonderful and you dof is great, the background being completely removed focuses the interest on the subject, good job

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. I feel this one does well. Exposure composition focus lighting all good- the background light is interesting but borderline distracting to me.

Personal: For me this really works well for simplicity. I like the not-so-traditional placement and the angle of the shot.

My vote: 6

Nice texture on the ice. I/ve seen so many shots in which the drop of water is caught just after the moment of release from the icicle that I can't help but compare them to yours.

everything looks good here, sharpness & focus, composition, fitting the challenge. On the slightest (infintestimol, really) the shadow in the BG, looks like a man's ear. Grabbing just a bit of my attention. Other than that, nice shot.

Very simple - up close - and with good focus - but the right side of the candle is still bothersome because of its lack of detail.
