I feel the subject is a little dark in this shot. I'm having a hard time telling what they are, floppy disks I'm thinking. Better lighting on the floppies would have blown out the white background therefore I think I would have used a dark background and a bright light to make the subject stand out.

Too bad this didn't do better, I gave it an 8. It was one of my favorites of this challenge. I think the white appliances look good for this shot. They are so pure white they lend weight to the subject in a way that is hard to explain. I think it is that she seems cold and distant, so far away from the viewer, and the pristine white cabinets are a fitting part of her environment.

I do admit, I hadn't noticed her face had been burned out. That is kind of odd. When I first looked at this I thought she had dark hair and had her head turned away looking out the window. When I looked closer, after reading a previous comment, I noticed the burned out face. That kind of marrs the effect a bit. It sort of reduces it to creepy, stalker level. Oh well, it's powerful at any rate.

The abstract nature of this image is acceptable, but I do not understand where the "focal point" of the image lies. It is confusing to my eyes, and the blue lights serve to distract more than enhance the shot IMHO.

perhaps needs something a bit more animate to make the shot more interesting. The lighting could be improved to show some of the detail on the floppies, and give them some cool shadows
