lose the frame or have it just black, the white does nothing for this image. A bit of a crop on the left size might have mfor a more pleasing image...The rocks and tree against this great expanse of background are enought and the bit of green sitcking out in the middle of the horizon is very distracting. A fine image none the less and on I like very much. Great shot for your first mountain trip.

Great perspective! Color fringing (from sharpening?) is a little distracting, and I wish I could see more of the foliage on the left, to balance the log on the right, but still an excellent shot.
