The Axe Effectby SirBiggsALotComment by typologic: hehe, this made me laugh :)
Too bad you didn't use real models, but I know we don't all have that luxury (I know I don't). Lighting could have been a bit better, as this seems too dark. Adjusting the curves (in photoshop) may have helped.
Points for humour and originality :) |

The Axe Effectby SirBiggsALotComment by srdanz: I made a similar comment to another Bokeh in this challenge - it is more fit for the magazine ads, does not fit the billboard signs. |

Degrees Of Separationby SirBiggsALotComment by tristalisk: ok we have a candle on a peice of ice, on a mirror. While mildly interesting it makes no sense to me.. technicaly it's ok. it's in focus, the colors look right, and the rule of 3rds was used.. but alas it looks like a candle on ice on a mirror. There seems to be nothing to it.. I'm not even sure where the separation is that you are trying to portray. is it the fire and ice? The solid to liquid? The two mirrored setup causing a duplicate?. I'm sorry but its just a run of the mill shot that dosn't fit the challenge to me.. |

Degrees Of Separationby SirBiggsALotComment by nards656: Flame shots are, IMHO, very hard to do well. The movement of the flame always results in a blur, and the flame is normally overexposed by 2 or 3 stops and everything else is underexposed. I'm not going to vote you down because this is a flame shot - it's done as well as can be expected. The shot just doesn't make me think of separation, sorry. It actually makes me think of a union. 5 |

Muted Bridgeby SirBiggsALotComment by Kathy: Angled for angled sake doesn't work. But, yours creates a true design - and it almost works. Something in the coloring dissipated the drama, however. |
