Suicide is painless. Anyway, I like the repeat of the arched pattern in the stitching of the slippers and the arch on the sidewalk. You noted that particular detail and used it to your advantage. The photo seems a bit flat, though. Maybe the light was overcast or something, but you don't get the sense of height that you were trying to convey in the image. Still, I give it a 7

8 flat image. Then the shoes grab my attention, and I realize I'm looking straight down.

I wonder how it'd look with the shoes sharp and the background slightly blurred?

I'm going to just tell myself that you set a pair of shoes up there on the edge to help with the fear of heights... very convincing perspective! Also like the symmetry of the yellow lines leading in. Well composed.
