I think it the tear drops below the red plume that make this shot for me. Kind of resembles tears of blood from all the fighting America has done to remain a free country. Nice work! 9 -danny

Wow!!! Outstanding capture! This picture is very well balanced, even with the empty space in the upper left. I love the way the two small boats are caught by the reflections in the water from their respective light sources. Also, that's one hell of a fireball fireworks! Almost seems to be a UFO out of Strange Encounters of the Third Kind. Are you sure that it's not really abducting earthlings? :) Excellent job!

Nice shot. I love the effect of the double-burst, the reflection on the water, and the boats out there showing people enjoying it - all add up to a lovely photo! The monument is a nice touch, too, though my attention goes first to the fireworks and their reflection.
