the empty playground certainly meets the challenge but it lacks a whole lot of interest - would stepping back a bit to include more of the slide and not the power lines have helped?

this seems to be the only really interesting "playground" shot, i like the composition, and black/white evokes a calming, quiteness. Border detracts a bit.

Good idea. I would like to see everything moved to the right in the image, though. This will bring your leading lines deeper into the image

Conveys emptiness, solitude, a quietness that is full of sorrow rather than peace and relaxation. Black and white definitely enhances that perception. The textures of the wood, metal and ground are nicely captured.

composition is so important to an image.. it seems to me that this shot would have been much better if the whole slide was in the shot.. the detail and focus of the shot are good and the subject is intersting.. just could have been better..
