This lake is famous for that reflection & you got perfect conditions to capture it. I have been there twice but only once did I get a reflection like this.The choice to use a panorama crop was the right one

Really wonderful vista but everything is just tonally compressed that it loses all depth. I'm guessing the source here is a JPEG? Too bad, it could have been spectacular.

I find your comment interesting. Wonder how much is related to how yours and my monitors are calibrated? I run two monitors, one which is (HD 1920x1200) calibrated well to the full sRGB color space. The second (UHD 4K 3820x2160) falls far short of the sRGB color space. On my good HD monitor I find that it "pops" nicely. On the UHD there is far more of the light gray background, white space and it doesn't look as good on it.
