She looks like a reluctant subject which renders the shot a bit less effective. It's also an unflattering angle doesn't help. Had she opned her eyes and looked at the camera she would have looked mischievous or flirty.

Lighting is flat which makes it look like camera flash, whereas directional lighting would create more mood and bring form to clothing and hair.
