Very nice. High key does seem to be the way to shoot jewelery. The low keys just don't seem to work. I like the color sat in the stone Maybe just a tad deeper dof to include the outside bits of the face of the ring 9

I think I would have tried to bump up the saturation and get a little more glow about the green. This is very nicely done, overall, with the usual problematic blurring of the diamonds. It also feels very static, which is not bad, just a point of consideration. 8

Seems you were working with a very shallow DOF; there's an area around the ring that looks out of focus. Also, ligthing was maybe too direct. The sparkle of most of the diamonds is too intense and wash out the diamonds details.

such a hard challenge in many ways. Sadly this is much too flatly lit to be considered for print and the sharpness is lacking. Lighting from the side or a little behind (even with a battery operated flashlight) would help add some texture

I love the simple, and static composition and the white background.

I don't really know what green jade ought to look like. Here it posesses a beautiful color, but the reflections are so controlled that I cannot see that it is shiny or transluscent. There is an analogous problem, it seems with the diamonds. Finally, I'm having a bit of a hard time telling which parts of the ring are actually in crisp focus.
