This interesting picture is badly underexposed. Have you tried taking a series of shots with a range of exposures?

Total Averaged Rating(Rounded) 5

Severe colour cast/haze. Normally it is easily corrected in PS levels. I tried with this one with no luck. Maybe with the original it could be fixed.

This photo almost looks like it's taken through thick smoke. I personally don't feel it complements this subject. You might want to look at //www.lonestardigital.com/photoshop_quicktips.htm for a way to clear this up using your favorite image editor.

pic is washed out, low on contrast. Read up on how to set levels or curves in your editor.

Comment by mandyp:
The angle is a little disturbing. There could be more interest added by not centering the main item. The colours are quite dull - levels should be adjusted in Photoshop to bring out the colours.

i actually liked the composition of this shot (tilt works well here) with the exception that you gathered too much of the sky. your cam seems to have problems with low contrast and chromatic aberation. possibly might improve upon this by avoiding including too much of the sky; :) i also tend to forget this in my own pictures

The faded look is a big detraction to this shot. Also, the tilt does not work for me.
