Birds Eye Viewby spidermanComment by muckpond: An interesting angle, but the pixel-y colors distract. Perhaps this photo has been oversharpened? Oh! I just noticed the bird -- I didn't even see that before, unfortunately. I just thought this was a shot of something a bird would be looking at. Maybe this would be more effective in B/W since the sky color is so washed out already? |

Birds Eye Viewby spidermanComment by HBunch: The sky on this is quite white out and the photo seems to contain speckles. (noise?) It might be the brightness of the sky in the background that makes the focus look soft. The patterns are nice though, and the angle and framing/cropping you chose is nice. Good luck in the challenge. |

Birds Eye Viewby spidermanComment by boyte1: Good photographers eye. We walk past things like this everyday, and never stop to notice the textures, and shapes. |

Faithful Flock to Flag Footballby spidermanComment by spiderman: this is a flag-football league just a few blocks from my house - i never knew it was there until i was drving by and stopped to shoot this -- in hindsight, the consensus to crop the lights out is probably correct; however, i like the guy on the right, so i'd have to get rid of a few of the guys on the left - bye, guys! |

Faithful Flock to Flag Footballby spidermanComment by stephan: Nice photo!I like the motion blur which shows... well the motion ;-) I would have tried to crop a bit ore from the top of the photo to get rid of the empty space. It's not the lamps which I dislike (first thought was that they distract from the photo but they do not. I think they add to the atmosphere). It's the empty space between the players and the lamps which I don't like. Maybe if you would have crouched a little that would have been better because the players in the foreground would fill the empty space. Just a suggestion. -stephan |
