Seems out of focus, and the background is competing strongly with the subjects instead of complimenting them. Shadows on the minolta are also distracting.

Your concept for this image is good. It has an intersting perspective and is framed well. The bight sky is washed out and it would be better if that were not true. Focus seems too much on the soft side. This is also resized much smaller than 640 pixels and that loses detail. Reshoot this image with a "better" sky, resized to 640 pixels on the horizontal side and judicious aplication of USM and you will be much happier with the result.
