Wow...that is a clever effect! I hope enough people read the title and actually do what it says. Photographically it's not that interesting and will probably be clobbered, but it is interesting and innovative none the less!

I like this composition. The red candles make a big difference and give you the lovely red, yellow and green colors. I wish the Budda was a little less dark.

Not a bad composition. Just needs a tad bit more light. I know it seems counter intuititive, but if you were to try a reshoot with some more ambient lighting, this could go from an average shot to a good one. Consider turning this into a study session and post some results if you do. I would like to see them!

Well lit, nicely focused, outstanding use of colors and the dark space. This has great appeal to me.

I'm completely baffled by the figure on left. It's too dim to be sure what's that, but even if it's a painting of a man I'm not sure how it contributes to the image. Or the candles steal too big role. One is a lot smaller than the others and by special arrangement seems to have some special role, but the tale of this image is beyond me.

Comment by GeneralE:
I'm not sure it needed to be cropped that tightly, but the panoramic look certainly emphasizes the size and spread of the building -- very nice. DPC size restrictions do somewhat limit the effectiveness of panoramic crops.

For some reason this version looks darker too -- I might try to lighten it a touch.

I haven't been there since it was repaired -- looks great. Even though it would be small here, I think I'd have cropped to a 2:1 panorama to emphasize the building -- I don't think it needs that much sky.

Very nice. My only suggestion would be to consider a wider aspect ratio shot There's a lot of negative space above the building and it seems cramped on the sides.
