watchingby keriboiComment by JimiRose: Really nice portrait, a bit too heavily tonemapped for my liking but that's just personal taste. |

Wheres it goingby keriboiComment by 3DsArcher: I think you were a bit hard done by here. What's more dramatic than action on the sports field? The guy smiling on the left probably didn't help you though. |

Inside the mothershipby keriboiComment by JulietNN: Hi from the Critique Club,
You asked for your shot to have an in depth comment from a member of the Critique Club.
Nice shot, an interesting shot.
The greens are very vibrant here which is a nice contrast to the little darkness that peeks out. I think that this shot would have been received better if you had cropped right into the weed. There is too much weed here and needs to be less.
In post processing, boost the contrast this will give it some more depth, even playing with the neutrals in selective colours would have given you a totally different picture.
You did really well for the camera not being a macro |

Whats cooking?by keriboiComment by JulietNN: HI from the C Club
you asked for an in depth comment on your shot for this challenge.
This is a hot shot!
You scored fairly well with this shot, well done.
I think it would have placed higher if you had had a more interesting angle to it. The right hand side is a little burnt out (ha ha) on your reflection of whatever is dried out underneath the burner. The rule of thirds would have made a good shot for this.
In post processing, not sure if there is anything else that you could have done, a different crop, but you are sharp and clean, the colour is great and gives the illusion of begin very hot.
well done |
