Very unique POV. Love the feel of the picture. I think this would have worked well in the personification challenge.

Powerful image. Maybe with a little cloning and spot editing the small dark spots could be eliminated. The lighting and composition is awesome. Nice photo.

Fantastic shot, great mood and light - pity about the dirt like stuff around the sailing boat.

camera was a digital rebel (Canon EOS 300D). The comet effect is from the car headlights during the long exposure. Thanks for the comment!

I am leaving the bay area soon and am trying to get a panoramic of the city. This was the first clear attempt I had (of over 400 shots) because the winds at dusk in the bay are really strong and I haven't had time to make an enclosure to prevent shake on the long exposures. Unfortunately, this is a little over exposed and I could probably reduce that a bit with photoshop. The bangkok panoramic is infinitely better, but needs to be printed five feet wide.

Best shot in the challenge..especially since I grew up sailing and know that even though the sailboat has the right of way, you don't enforce it against a large ship...the tonal quality, the positioning of the ships and the eerie, misty quality is excellent-provides a lot of mood; I like that the sky and sea mirror the same quality of color at top and bottom of frame.
