Singing the Bluesby crikComment by quiche: I like that this tells a plausible story for why the model's eyes are closed instead of just closing the eyes for the sake of the challenge. There are some oddly colored areas in the background (adjacent to the model's upper eye and below and left of the model's ear). |

Under The Oaksby crikComment by JakeKurdsjuk: I would have pulled back a bit on the grass highlights and tried to emphasize the people more. Would have been better if the child was in full view. |

Under The Oaksby crikComment by wbanning: I'm enjoying being part of the DPL First ten! side challenge. Yours is photo #7 in my random voting stream for the Rule of Thirds VI challenge.
Nicely framed by the natural elements. For me, there's tension between the relative small size of the subject(s) and the massive tree framing the scene. Frankly, the tree wins for my attention, despite the human subject's placement using the rule of thirds. |
