The architecture I think overpowers the child in this image. If the child was wearing brighter clothing it might work better.

this photo is very good, but it's a little hard to focus on the child, when he's such a minimal part of the photo. I get the "aloneness" more from the street being empty then from him. I understand the farthest point of the pic was probably populated, but I find myself wanting to see some open space and an empty elongated street. But good job overall.

The textures and colors and choice of lighting here are all magnificent. Centering in this case was a nice choice. The contrast and extreme detail within the meat of the fruit is captivating. I'd really like to see a large, high-resolution version of this image.
