A Place for Moss to Growby dwolffComment by Jutilda: This might really have some punch in black and white. There isn't alot of contrast as it is and no real focal point. I like the idea of the moss - maybe do a macro with lots of detail and perhaps one of the leaves peeking into the shot. I hope you find this helpful. |

Layers in Whiteby dwolffComment by jbsmithana: Good try but it could have been a nicer shot without the blown highlights. Also the background blacks needed to be darker to bring out the white rose. |

A Place for Moss to Growby dwolffComment by ShutterPug: some of the wood areas seem over-exposed, almost as if a flash was used and caused areas to be too bright. May be corrected by use of the burn tool |

A Place for Moss to Growby dwolffComment by kmbr2001: could have work with a little more work on photoshop or camera setting. It just feel like a snapshot and maybe a little curve work or bright/contrast work would have made this better. |

Layers in Whiteby dwolffComment by mikala: this is really quite pretty. don't feel texture much, almost the opposite. it's soft (as it should be) and the texture is sort of washed out as a result. |

Layers in Whiteby dwolffComment by loriprophoto: Great idea but I think that some of the white is a bit too blown out which hasnt helped to maintain some of the definition and thus the texture of the flower. Adjusting the curves if you have photoshop would help with regaining some of the definition |
