Dragon's Backby giegaComment by AlexMonty: Interesting idea, nice and creative. Pity about that tiny grey spot in top left but that doesn't detract too much. I like how you've composed the thorns, makes it look like the shot has been taken on some sort of alien landscape. 8 :) |

Touched by an Angleby giegaComment by Ecce_Signum: My second visit to this pic, I'm sorry I'm so stupid that I needed a drink to notice the pun. I didn't vote on this challenge but it would have been an 8 (the right shoulder is a little blown). Excellent shot and a very clever play on words. |

Churchby giegaComment by Ecce_Signum: The simplicity of the thumbnail brought me for a closer look. i'm not as eloquent as srbrubaker but will try. The shot is very clean crisp and simple and is apleasure to look at, the clours are just right but I would like a bit more colour/contrast on the main tree. Maybe a 15' stepladder would help with the mountains on the roof and even bring out more of the path? The large grassed foreground leads me nicely to the church framed by the mountains and on to the tower then the tree keeps the tower as the focus point. Nice to see a cloudless sky that looks so nice. |

Robert Smithby giegaComment by rex: I am making two passes on this Challenge. I will vote on your photo then return later(before voting is over) to comment on what I like and dislike about your shot. You can take the comments however you wish and I will try not to be mean. Just don't take it the wrong way.

Maybe crop a little more off the top to lose the white spot in the top right. |

Robert Smithby giegaComment by dragonlady: I like this; the doors, the columns and the architecture are appealing; the small touches of plant life add to this composition. |
